Carolyn Renninger

Chairwoman of the Board, and Senior Vice President, Administration

Carolyn Renninger, Chairwoman of the Board of Directors and Senior Vice President, Administration, has been responsible for administrative duties at c3controls since she and her husband founded the company in 1976. During c3controls’ first 20 years Carolyn was the Office Manager. She assumed the role of CEO/President in 1996 until her son, Geoff, became President in 2001. Her present position with c3controls is a fitting one, highlighting as it does her experience as an administrator.

Since the Taylor family moved to Beaver in 1971, Carolyn has been active in the life of her church and Beaver County. In 1999 the Beaver County Foundation recognized Carolyn and c3controls’ contributions to the community with the Benjamin Franklin Entrepreneur Award. Carolyn’s business acumen and community involvement was recognized again in 2008 when the Beaver Valley Business & Professional Women’s Club nominated her for Woman of the Year. Carolyn holds a BEd in Elementary Education, Math and Science, and began her career as a school teacher with the Cincinnati Public School System at the well-regarded Kilgour School.

Carolyn has held leadership positions with Penn State (Beaver Campus), and the Merrick Art Gallery. And she’s served as the Treasurer/Secretary for the non-profit Beaver County Corporation for Economic Development since 2001.

An avid gardener and golfer, Carolyn’s biggest passion remains her grandkids.
